WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO:
• Will work with the Science, Maths and Technology departments to promote a love of learning across STEM subjects.
• Can plan and teach fantastic lessons that promote a love of science from KS3 to KS4.
• Wants to develop, in collaboration with the Science department, a curriculum that inspires a love of Science from Year 7 through to Year 11.
• Can design, implement and manage an academy STEM programme.
• Will contribute to the whole school development plan with a remit of improving outcomes and engagement in STEM subjects, with a particular lens on science.
• Can communicate effectively with parents around STEM, opportunities both within the academy and outside with a view to driving STEM engagement.
• Will plan and lead on educational visits for pupils of all abilities to experience opportunities in STEM across a range of fields.
