About this role

Reports to: Vice Chancellor Contract: 3-year contract Role Summary The Director of the Foundation Program provides academic leadership and operational oversight for the University’s one to two year Pre-UG preparatory program and the foundation curriculum in the first two trimesters of the UG program. This integrated foundation phase develops student competencies in English, Mathematics, Computer Fundamentals and Applications, Introduction to Sciences, and life skills, ensuring a smooth transition to the Under Graduate curriculum starting in trimester 3. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic planning, academic quality assurance, and operational management of the Foundation Program, across Pre-UG and UG Year 1, trimesters 1 & 2. Oversee curriculum design and alignment in English, Math, Computer Fundamentals and Applications, Life Skills, and Introductory Sciences. Ensure smooth student progression from Pre-UG to trimester 3 of the UG program. Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty, and facilitate professional development for teaching diverse learners. Monitor student performance and implement targeted academic support interventions. Collaborate with academic departments to align foundation outcomes with UG requirements. Manage budgets and program resources efficiently. Maintain compliance with institutional, accreditation, and regulatory standards, as applicable. Desired Profile PhD in Education, English, Mathematics, or other discipline. Ideally minimum 15 years of leadership and academic development, preferably in the university foundation or preparatory programs, or leadership experience in other organizations Experience in curriculum development, student transition programs, and teaching diverse learners Strategic leadership and program management Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills Strong organizational and administrative abilities Data-driven decision-making and program evaluation expertise To Apply Please send your comple
