About this role

Help shape the future of Norwich High School for Girls by building the relationships, stories and support that keep our community connected for life. As Development Officer, you will play a central role in bringing our alumnae, families, friends and local partners closer to the school, creating opportunities for them to stay involved, support our ambitions and make a lasting difference to current and future pupils. Working as part of the Marketing Team, you will help deliver an ambitious programme of alumnae engagement, fundraising and community outreach. From developing events and e-newsletters to supporting regular giving, legacy gifts, bursary and partnership campaigns, you will help turn goodwill into meaningful impact. You will also be a key contact for alumnae, maintain accurate records, support donor stewardship, identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities, and act as a positive ambassador for Norwich High School in the wider community. This is a part-time 14.5 hours per week position, working during school term time only, plus 10 days during the school holidays. About you We are looking for a warm, organised and proactive communicator who enjoys building relationships and making things happen. You may bring experience from fundraising, development, alumnae relations, marketing and events or a similar relationship-led role. What matters most is your ability to communicate compellingly, manage detail carefully, work confidently with a wide range of people and see the potential in every connection.
