Design and Technology Technician

Design and Technology Technician Permanent/Full-time Scale 4 (Outer London) Required: As soon as possible A suitably qualified Design and Technology Technician is required to work in our heavily oversubscribed school, which has a reputation for providing outstanding support for staff and students. We welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates who are keen to provide support in our Design & Technology Department in the Expressive Arts Faculty with resources and the use of technical equipment. You will provide technical and practical support within the Expressive Arts Faculty, ensuring equipment and materials are maintained and set up as appropriate and required, following our health and safety protocols and risk assessments. The successful candidate will be organised, motivated and have the ability to work with and support young people in their learning and development. The post would suit candidates who have either a background of working in the education sector or within the art, design and technology industries. Specific ongoing training for this role will be provided alongside a comprehensive induction programme.
