Could your leadership help remove barriers to learning and create even better outcomes for students with additional needs? As Deputy Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) at St Ninian’s High School, you'll work closely with the SENCo to lead areas of Complex and Additional Support, coordinate provision for students with additional learning needs, monitor progress and interventions, support colleagues, and help drive inclusive practice across the school. Combining leadership and teaching responsibilities, you'll play a key role in ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

✔ Newly qualified teachers will automatically start on a generous salary of £42,718 per annum (spine point M4).
✔ A competitive salary that increases each 12 months until you reach the salary maximum.
✔ Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, you will be offered two pensions arrangements: the Teachers Superannuation scheme or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) arrangement.
✔ If you are returning to the island and have participated in the Department’s Student Loan scheme for tuition fees, the loan will be repaid by the Department upon completion of your second year working as a teacher at one of the island’s schools. The repayment is subject to a maximum of £7
