About this role

Cheadle Hulme Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Kids Club Manager to support the delivery of high-quality childcare and play opportunities for children aged 4 to 11. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with children, building positive relationships with families and contributing to a fun, inclusive and nurturing environment.

As Deputy Kids Club Manager, you will work closely with the Kids Club Manager to support the day-to-day operation of our breakfast and after-school provision. You will play a key role in ensuring children enjoy a safe, stimulating and child-centred environment where they can learn, develop and thrive through play.

This position is contracted on a 18 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.

Job Purpose 

  • To assist the Kids Club Manager in providing a high quality, play and child-centred setting.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous.
  • Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
