53 Hours to include up to four overnight duties per week with single bedsit accomodation
Shift pattern involving days, evenings and weekends
Salary: Actual salary of £31,378 to £34,022 per annum (£40,346 to £43,745 FTE) inclusive of holiday pay based on 15.55%.
Starting salary depending on skills qualifications, and experience. In addition to the above salary, you will be paid an allowance of approximately £4,000 per annum for four overnight duties per term time week (34 weeks).
At Cheltenham Ladies’ College, we aim to provide a strong support network for every one of our pupils. Around 650 students will board with us in one of our 11 Sixth Form and Junior Boarding Houses and your role will be at the heart of our pastoral care as you join one of the dedicated, professional teams working under the direction of a Houseparent.
In addition to looking after our students’ wellbeing, you will help with the day-to-day running of the house. You may have experience in a similar role, but it is not essential. We are interested in those who can demonstrate a genuine interest in the development and welfare of young people, have common sense, a flexible attitude and enjoy working as part of a team. Full training will be given.
