The Grove Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced individual to take on its challenging and rewarding Deputy Headteacher vacancy. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
This role involves playing a key leadership part in supporting the Headteacher to manage and develop the school, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will inspire and lead staff, promote a culture of high expectations, and contribute to whole-school evaluation, strategy, and development. They will drive excellent teaching and learning by supporting staff, monitoring pupil progress, and ensuring all children achieve strong outcomes. The post holder will contribute to recruitment, professional development, and performance management, while fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider community. A strong commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusive practice is essential, alongside the ability to maintain a safe and supportive school environment. Candidates should demonstrate proven leadership experience, excellent classroom practice, and the ability to motivate and inspire others. The role requires a passionate, resilient, and collaborative professional who is committed to delivering high-quality education and achieving the best outcomes for every child.
