The John of Gaunt School is seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Data Administrator to join their team. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
In this role, you will support the effective running of the school by ensuring student data is accurately recorded, maintained, and reported across a range of systems. As part of the Examinations and Data Team, responsibilities include managing assessment information for students in Years 7–13 and producing clear, timely tracking reports to support informed decision-making. The post involves maintaining up-to-date student records, including admissions, leavers, and contact details, ensuring all information is complete and managed within required timescales. Accurate reports will be generated and shared using systems such as Arbor, alongside supporting the setup and maintenance of key data platforms used across the school. There is also involvement in wider school operations, including assisting with parents’ evenings, timetable updates, and ensuring key systems run smoothly for staff and students. Support is provided for data protection processes, contributing to GDPR-related tasks such as subject access requests and maintaining compliance records. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining confidentiality, upholding high standards, and contributing to safeguarding the overall well-being and success of every student.
