Zero hours contract - hours available each week in school term time to include weekends. Offered on a fixed term basis for an initial period of 12 months.Basic pay of £31.07 per hour, plus holiday pay at 12.07%. Our ambition is for dance programmes at College to have a life-long impact on our pupils.Street Dance will be a new addition to our lesson portfolio. We currently have over 80 pupils attending lessons in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Tap. The Dance department caters for a wide range of styles and abilities, and offers private, semi-private and group lessons. Pupils can choose to work towards Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations in Ballet, and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) examinations in Modern, Contemporary and Tap. Recreational Dance is also offered during the week and provides opportunities for pupils to use their own creativity. Dance activities also feature in the Enrichment Programme at Cheltenham Ladies’ College.It is our desire to offer private, semi-private and group lessons in Street Dance, with the intention that pupils can work towards ISTD examinations should they wish.Experience in teaching Street Dance is essential, alongside the flexibility with hours to fulfil the needs of the dance department. Experience in teaching ISTD curriculum and supporting pupils through examinations is a positive.
