About this role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Curriculum Coordinator to join our academic leadership team at the Umm Al Quwain (UAQ) campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s curriculum to ensure high academic standards and alignment with regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Development: Lead the review and enhancement of the curriculum across all grade levels, ensuring it meets national standards and the school’s academic vision.
Instructional Leadership: Support teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies, providing coaching, and facilitating professional development workshops.
Assessment & Data Analysis: Oversee school-wide assessment cycles, analyze student performance data, and collaborate with staff to implement intervention strategies.
Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure all curricular documentation is up-to-date for inspections and meets the requirements of the Ministry of Education and relevant accreditation bodies.
Resource Management: Identify and manage the procurement of textbooks, digital resources, and instructional materials required for effective curriculum delivery.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Department Heads to ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of the curriculum.
Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a specific subject area (Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction or Educational Leadership is preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a middle management or coordinatory role.
Skills:
Deep understanding of pedagogical trends and curriculum mapping.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex academic data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team.
Proficiency in educational technology and management systems (e.g., MS Office, LMS).
