About this role
Claremont is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our supportive team and play a key role in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour across the school.
This is a support role in which the successful candidate will supervise classes during the absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning and complete the work set. You will also contribute to the rota of break and lunchtime duties. Working predominantly within the Senior School, and occasionally within the Junior School when required, you will provide classroom supervision, support student progress and contribute to the positive, respectful and purposeful learning environment for which Claremont is known.
The successful candidate will be confident working with young people, able to manage classroom behaviour effectively and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous experience working with children or within an educational setting is desirable, although we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people.

Hours:
8:15am – 4:15pm, Monday to Friday (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Term time plus INSETS (35 weeks of the year)

Salary:
FTE: £30,000 - £32,000 depending on qualifications and experience
Actual salary: £23,127 - £24,669 depending on qualifications and experience
