Cover Supervisor

Ingleby Manor Free School are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our academy in September 2026 on a full time, permanent basis. Your new role As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide supervision of pupil learning within the academy. You will need to respond to questions, generally assist students to undertake set activities and uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom. In addition to cover needs, you will be required to work alongside teaching and classroom-based staff to provide general support for departments. This is a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the academy/school. It is important for you to be ICT literate and competent in using a variety of software packages. As a Cover Supervisor, you will cover lessons across all subjects in the event of staff absence, delivering the work as set and supervising students in a classroom environment whilst adhering to the Behaviour, Education and Safeguarding policies. Hours of work are; 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday, Wednesday & Thursday (7.5 hrs) 8.00am to 5.0pm Tuesday (8.5 hrs) 8.00am to 2.00pm Friday (6 hrs) Job share arrangements will be considered.
