Introduction
Not every skilled tradesperson wants to stay on the tools forever.
At New Meaning Training, we are looking for a Construction Tutor who can pass on practical skills, confidence and life experience to young people who often have not achieved their potential in mainstream education.

We welcome applications from experienced tutors, construction professionals looking for a career change, site supervisors, tradespeople and trainers. If you have strong construction knowledge and the ability to engage young people, we can support you with gaining teaching qualifications and developing your educational practice.
Many of our learners have SEND, SEMH needs, autism, ADHD or previous negative experiences of education. Above all, we are looking for someone who can build relationships, set clear expectations and help young people believe they can succeed.

Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learners at different levels of confidence and ability
Collaborate with your team on scheme of work and lesson planning
