Based on the main site, in our all-age generic special school, the Connect Pathway at West SILC is looking for an exceptional teacher to join our specialist team. Our learners have significant communication, sensory and learning needs and access a highly personalised curriculum through Total Communication, sensory experiences, play-based learning and life-skills development.
We are looking for someone who:
· Has high aspirations for learners with SEND
· Builds outstanding relationships
· Enjoys creative, sensory and practical teaching
· Values communication in all its forms
· Wants to be part of a supportive specialist team
· Leads and directs support staff effectively to maximise pupil learning, independence and deliver differentiated, small-group learning
