Aldenham Prep School Riyadh is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Computer Science, Robotics and Digital Literacy Specialist Teacher to join our growing school. The successful candidate will teach Computer Science, Robotics, ICT and Digital Literacy across Key Stage 3, currently up to Year 9, with the opportunity to contribute to the future development of GCSE / Key Stage 4 Computer Science as the school continues to expand.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative teacher to help shape the development of computing, robotics and digital learning within a growing British international school.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Computer Science, Robotics, ICT and Digital Literacy across KS3.
Support the continued development of the school’s computing and digital learning curriculum.
Teach key areas including programming, algorithms, computational thinking, robotics, digital systems, networks, cyber safety, digital literacy and responsible technology use.
Develop pupils’ confidence in coding, problem-solving, creativity, logical thinking and safe use of technology.
Contribute to the future planning and development of GCSE / KS4 Computer Science provision as the school grows.
Use assessment effectively to monitor pupil progress and support achievement.
Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as robotics, coding clubs, STEM activities, digital innovation projects and competitions.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider academic and pastoral life of the school.
We are looking for someone who has:
A degree in Computer Science, ICT, Education, Robotics or a related subject.
A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, B.Ed. or equivalent.
Experience teaching Computer Science, ICT, Robotics or Digital Literacy within a British curriculum or international school setting.
The ability to teach KS3 confidently.
