As a Community Learning Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering adult learning opportunities across a designated area of Hampshire. Working within Hampshire Achieves, you’ll help people develop skills, improve wellbeing and achieve their goals through accessible, high-quality learning delivered in libraries, community venues and online. 

This is an opportunity to lead a diverse programme of community learning, develop and support a team of tutors, and build strong partnerships that make a lasting difference to local communities. You’ll combine strategic planning, people leadership and community engagement to ensure learners receive an inclusive and rewarding experience. 

What you'll do

  • Lead and coordinate community learning provision across your area, ensuring programmes meet local needs and priorities.
  • Manage, support and develop Adult Learning Tutors, driving high standards of teaching and learner engagement.
  • Monitor performance, learner feedback and participation data to continually improve learning outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with libraries, community organisations and local partners to expand access to learning.
  • Champion quality, inclusion, safeguarding and compliance across all areas of delivery.

What we're looking for

  • Experience working within education, learning, training or a similar environment.
  • Understanding of quality standards in adult education delivery.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, influence and collaborate effectively.
  • A commitment to lifelong learning, continuous improvement and delivering an outstanding learner experience.
