Location: Cairo, Egypt Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-time – On-site School Type: British International School Egypt British International School (EBIS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Co-Teacher to join our team for the 2026 academic year, aligned with our mission of Enriching – Exploring – Excelling and our core values of enrichment, empowerment, esteem, and excellence. We are looking for a supportive and proactive educator who is committed to enhancing students’ academic, social, and emotional development within a nurturing, culturally grounded British-curriculum environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences and ensure that all students are supported to achieve their full potential. Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area. ● Teaching qualification or diploma in education (preferred). ● Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably within a British or international school. ● Strong understanding of child development and inclusive classroom practices. ● Ability to support students with varying learning needs, including EAL and additional learning support where required. ● Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. ● Ability to work collaboratively and professionally as part of a team. Job Description: ● Support the Class Teacher in planning and delivering lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum. ● Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources. ● Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support. ● Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment. ● Monitor and record student progress under the direction of the Class Teacher. ● Support behaviour management in line with school policies. ● Contribute to student wellbeing and social-emotional development. ● Assist with supervision duties, school events, and
