About this role

Five hours per week, term time only (additional hours will be paid as and when required) FCC is an 11-18 local authority, mixed comprehensive with over 1500 students on roll and a thriving sixth form. In October 2024 OFSTED confirmed our ‘Good’ status originally achieved in January 2016.The school has a good record of academic outcomes and pastoral support and our core values of achievement, care and equality underpin our work, creating a happy and vibrant school. We are looking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body. You will be required to work with the Chair of Governors, and the Headteacher, attending governing body meetings, producing agendas, writing and circulating minutes and carrying out follow-up actions. Meetings are usually held from 4pm. Confidentiality and a high level of discretion are essential in this role.
