Part Time 4 hours per week term-time only

We are seeking an organised, professional and highly motivated Clerk to Governors to support our Governing Body in delivering effective governance and strategic oversight for the school.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills who is looking for a rewarding and flexible role within education.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring that the Governing Body operates effectively and in accordance with statutory requirements.
The role will include:
Preparing and distributing agendas, reports and supporting papers for governing body meetings.
Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes and ensuring actions are recorded and followed up.
Providing procedural and administrative support to the Governing Body and its committees.
Maintaining governance records and ensuring compliance with current legislation and regulations.
Acting as a key point of contact between governors, school leaders and external stakeholders.
Supporting governor recruitment, induction and training processes where required.
We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent administrative, word processing and record-keeping skills.
Can produce clear, concise and accurate minutes.
Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Is able to work independently, manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is willing and able to attend evening governing body meetings throughout the academic year.
