  • 15 hours per week (M-F)

Additional 2.5 hours per week MSA cover (£12.85/hr) also available

 

We are seeking to appoint a committed, friendly, reliable and efficient Clerical Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly school team and the Federation’s administrative team.

If you have experience of working in a busy school office or similar environment, have excellent communication skills, are highly organised and have excellent ICT skills we would love to hear from you.

We value the importance of our school Clerical Assistant/Receptionist who is often the first contact for families and visitors and combines a welcoming and friendly approach with high standards and professional skills.

As the first point of contact for any visitor to the school, the successful candidate must have a good telephone manner, enthusiasm, approachability, good humour and the ability to stay calm when faced with a variety of requests.

You must also be flexible and be willing to administer first aid.

As well as working as part of a busy team, the candidate will be required to use their initiative and to work independently. Experience with school management information systems would be desirable but not essential, as training is available. Hours of work, 08:45 to 12:00.

It is vital that you enjoy working with children; you will find our pupils to be delightful.

  • Is self-motivated and has the ability to problem solve and manage changing priorities and work with the team.
