Job Overview – Classroom ManagerLocation: Crompton House Church of England School
Salary: Grade 4, SCP 12–17 (£27,711–£30,060 FTE per annum, actual salary pro rata)
Hours: 33.75 hours per week, term time plus 3 days
Crompton House Church of England School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Manager to support teaching and learning across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential in a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
Working under the direction of teaching staff, you will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, support learning activities, promote positive behaviour, and provide targeted support to individual students and small groups. You will also assist with classroom preparation, attendance monitoring, routine marking, exam invigilation, and pastoral support, including supervising students in Reflection or the Pupil Support Unit where required.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, the confidence to manage classroom behaviour, and a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and the Christian values of the school. You will work closely with teaching and pastoral colleagues to ensure every student is supported to succeed academically and personally.
