Woodlands Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive school located in the heart of Ilford, East London. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to join our team, teaching Key Stage 1 or 2 pupils across all curriculum areas.
Position: Class Teacher
Education Stage: Primary (Key Stage 2)
Experience: No previous experience required - ECTs are welcome to apply alongside more experienced teachers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons covering a range of cross-curricular subjects.
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification or working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
- Ability to plan effectively for diverse learners within Key Stage 1 and 2.
- Enthusiasm for delivering creative, cross-curricular lessons.
- Willingness to learn, develop professionally, and contribute positively to the school community.
