We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and forward-thinking Teacher to join our vibrant team at our prestigious independent school in West Hampstead. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to manage their time efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Teaching and Learning: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experiences that foster the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children. Parent Communication: Develop strong, trusting relationships with parents, maintaining clear, open, and regular communication about children’s progress, well-being, and development through written reports and face-to-face meetings. Creative Curriculum Development: Design and implement creative, stimulating, and flexible learning activities that inspire curiosity, exploration, and independent learning. Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe and assess children’s development, documenting progress and identifying next steps to inform planning. Classroom Management: Maintain a nurturing, safe, and well-organised classroom that encourages positive behaviour, independence, and collaboration. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to teaching and learning across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Time Management: Prioritise tasks effectively and manage time well to meet deadlines in a busy and fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality teaching. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure you stay at the forefront of Early Years education and pedagogical practices. Essential Criteria: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong experience working with children ideally within an independent school or similar setting.
