Class Teacher

Key Responsibilities: Teaching and Learning: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experiences that foster the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children. Parent Communication: Develop strong, trusting relationships with parents, maintaining clear, open, and regular communication about children’s progress, well-being, and development through written reports and face-to-face meetings. Creative Curriculum Development: Design and implement creative, stimulating, and flexible learning activities that inspire curiosity, exploration, and independent learning. Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe and assess children’s development, documenting progress and identifying next steps to inform planning. Classroom Management: Maintain a nurturing, safe, and well-organised classroom that encourages positive behaviour, independence, and collaboration. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to teaching and learning across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Time Management: Prioritise tasks effectively and manage time well to meet deadlines in a busy and fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality teaching. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure you stay at the forefront of Early Years education and pedagogical practices. Essential Criteria: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong experience working with children ideally within an independent school or similar setting. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, an
