The role of Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO) for the Horsham Learning Alliance offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic professional to join our newly formed Trust of two established education providers in Horsham. Job Role A key member of the Executive Team, the Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO) will ensure the delivery of cohesive, efficient and effective professional services that align with the strategic objectives of the Trust. The role involves fulfilling the responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing key elements of the strategic planning and operational management of the Trust. You will maintain compliance with the academy trust regulatory framework and other relevant statutory requirements while fostering a culture that supports the Trust’s vision and values. The CFOO will be the main point of contact externally for the Trust with agencies such as the funding body (DfE), local authorities, the Charity Commission and other public bodies, as well as the Trust and charity’s audit partners and legal advisors. Your leadership will ensure that HLA continues to grow and thrive, providing the highest level of educational support for our college, schools and students.
