About this role
Make your mark. Shape what comes next.
This post presents a rare opportunity to step into a Trust with real momentum - and take it somewhere extraordinary.
Halliard Trust is a family of nine primary and two secondary academies in Cheshire, serving over 4,000 children aged 4-18. Built on values of respect, integrity and optimism, the Trust has created a collaborative, ambitious culture. With strong outcomes, impressive Ofsted profiles, and areas of genuinely outstanding practice, the platform for success is ready for you.
What comes next is yours to design…
We are looking for a leader who relishes both the challenge and the freedom to define the next chapter - someone who will build on existing strengths, utilising the talented leaders across the Trust to create a clear, compelling vision for the future. You’ll refine the Trust’s school improvement offer, set the medium-term direction, and spot opportunities for thoughtful, sustainable growth.
You’ll bring clarity, confidence and the ability to inspire people to strive collectively for excellence. Equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up your sleeves, you’ll share Halliard’s unwavering commitment to ensuring every child receives an exceptional education, regardless of background or ability.
You’ll be building from a position of strength—with a committed team, an engaged board, and a Trust ready for its next phase.
We’re seeking an exceptional leader with a track record of delivering outcomes and building high-performing teams. Whether you’re leading a school or operating at system level, we are always keen to talk to talented leaders.
