Catering Assistant - 30 Hours

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant, to provide a friendly and efficient service to all of the users of the catering facilities across the College. You will work across the College’s new food outlets, barista style coffee house and refectory. Successful applicants will have a good general education, including numeracy and literacy skills and will ideally already have a Food Hygiene certificate, or be willing to work towards achieving this. Applicants should have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team and display excellent customer service skills. They should also have experience of working within a catering establishment and experience of using electronic tills would be advantageous. 30 hours per week, on a term-time only basis. A flexible approach to the working hours is required, in line with the needs of the College. The salary for this post is up to £25,375 pro rata.
