Careers Lead

Job Purpose: We are looking for a colleague who is enthusiastic about careers education and keen to learn more about the frameworks for this in school. We have a Gatsby benchmark-compliant careers programme already in place and are now looking to build on this strong foundation and take it even further. This may be someone who has a set of transferable skills, who is keen and able to learn more about careers to work towards this goal: · To be able to take the lead role in shaping the careers education programme at Therfield, so that students gain access to high quality careers learning, encounters and guidance that reflect the evolving of work and inspire them to make informed choices about their future pathways. Salary The salary range for the role is within SESSET Scale 7 £29,219 – £31,577* (£34,276 - £37,042 FTE). *The full-time position is based on 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, which includes two days during the school holidays We offer flexible working arrangements to suit a range of candidates. Part-time applications are welcomed. For example, 22 hours per week, worked over 3 – 5 days per week.
