We are currently looking for a Careers Co-Ordinator to join our team and support Key Stage 3/4 students in exploring career options and planning their futures. Position: Careers Co-Ordinator Type: Careers Advisor Curriculum Focus: Key Stage 3/4 Role Overview: As a Careers Co-Ordinator at Weaverham High School, you will play an important role in guiding Year 7 to Year11 students through early career awareness activities. You will work closely with staff, external partners, and students to deliver engaging careers advice that helps young people understand different pathways available after school. Skills and Qualifications: - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to build positive relationships with young people and colleagues - Organised with good time management skills - Basic IT skills for managing records and resources Values and Attitudes: - A genuine interest in supporting young people’s development and aspirations - Patience, empathy, and approachability when working with students from diverse backgrounds - Commitment to promoting equality of opportunity for all learners - Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth If you are passionate about helping young people discover their potential careers paths at an early stage, we would love to hear from you.
