As part of our growth strategy, The Aurora Group are really pleased have recently opened a brand new SEND Secondary School in September 2025 in Chaldon, Surrey for young people aged 11-16 who require support with social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing, typically associated with Autism. All of our students have access to a broad and exciting curriculum, allied to the national curriculum, personalised to meet their needs, interests and passions. With a model of small classes, high levels of classroom support and a supernumerary multi-disciplinary intervention team we are able to give students “every opportunity to achieve”
We are looking for an inspirational teacher who is passionate about preparing young people for adulthood and helping them develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed for future success. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about Careers Education and Workskills, supporting students to explore pathways, develop employability skills and achieve positive outcomes beyond school.
As part of our ambitious and evolving provision, we welcome teachers who embrace new opportunities and enjoy developing their practice across different curriculum areas. Whilst Careers & Workskills will be the main focus of this role, there may be opportunities to contribute to other subjects and areas of learning over time. This creates a varied and rewarding role, with opportunities for continued professional growth and collaboration across the school.

Some pupils may have multiple learning difficulties and may present with some challenging behaviours.
