Charity Overview The Royal School for the Blind is dedicated to providing exceptional educational and care opportunities for children with visual impairments and moderate to severe learning disabilities. Located in Liverpool, our school serves both day and residential students aged 2 to 19, fostering an inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Summary Reporting directly to the Head of Care, and indirectly to the Lead nurse and Therapies Manager, you will provide direct, confidential support to the team The Care Team Administrator will proactively support senior managers with a variety of tasks, including: Diary and inbox management. Supporting divisional meetings with agendas and minute taking. Working closely with management teams and staff to prepare materials for managers’, ensuring they are fully prepared for all meetings and engagements. Being the first point of contact visitors and regional partners for the division; both in the office and by phone/ email. Key Attributes * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to quickly establish strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to identify and maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality. * Ability to work in a proactive way, anticipating potential issues and using initiative to resolve. Qualifications Business Admin Qualification to Level 3 or above A minimum of 5 years experience Proven experience in administrative roles within an educational or care setting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous. Experience working with children or vulnerable groups is preferred. Effective time management skills.
