About this role
Help shape the future of one of London’s leading independent schools and lead the delivery of ambitious estate developments and improvement projects across a vibrant, multi-site campus, ensuring exceptional spaces for pupils, staff and the wider school community.
As Capital Projects Manager, you will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and wider Estates team and take the lead on delivering a diverse programme of capital projects, from planning and procurement through to contractor management, budget oversight and final delivery. You’ll help shape the school’s long-term development plans, coordinating projects that improve and enhance the learning environment while ensuring works are delivered efficiently, safely, on time and within budget, and with minimal disruption to day-to-day school life. This is a highly visible role where you’ll work with senior leaders, external consultants and contractors, giving you the opportunity to see projects through from concept to completion and make a lasting impact on the future of Emanuel School.
Alongside capital delivery, you will oversee the school’s planned preventative maintenance programme across multiple sites, helping to ensure the estate remains safe, compliant and maintained to a high standard. Working collaboratively with the Estates Manager and Estates Coordinator, you’ll monitor budgets, prioritise works and keep projects moving in a fast-paced operational environment.
