To provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for students up to and including Key Stage 5 in Business Studies. The ability to teach a second subject would be advantageous.
This is a full-time or part time post and is required for Autumn 2026.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Business Studies to students up to Key Stage 5.
Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance in accordance with school policies.
Stay updated on current trends and developments in Business Studies to enhance teaching practice.
Promote positive student behaviour during lessons within your class and across the school.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, educational psychologists, therapists who may be involved with students for whom you have a responsibility.

Experience:
Experience working with children / young people with special educational needs (SEN) is essential. Proven experience teaching Business Studies up to and including Key Stage 5, with a strong track record of student achievement.
Skills and Knowledge:
GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in Eng
