About Us: Newham College London, now merged with NewVIc Sixth Form College, is the largest post-16 education provider in Newham. The Role. We are seeking to appoint proactive Business Development Officers to drive apprenticeship and employer training growth by developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with employers across digital, health and life sciences, professional services, and construction & engineering, including green skills. You will be responsible for generating new business, developing and managing a strong sales pipeline, promoting our apprenticeship and training programmes, and delivering monthly recruitment and business development targets. You will work closely with employers to understand their workforce and skills need and develop tailored solutions that support their recruitment, upskilling and reskilling strategies. This is a fast-paced, target-driven and outward-facing role that would suit someone who enjoys winning new business, building meaningful employer relationships and converting opportunities into results. Experience within apprenticeships, commercial training or the Further Education sector would be advantageous, but we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong track record in business development and sales.
