About this role
We are seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to help develop and improve the systems, processes and data that support Westminster School.
Working across a mix of in-house and commercial systems, you will identify business needs, improve processes and help select, implement and integrate technology that delivers practical benefits for staff. Our strategy is Cloud First, using Software as a Service wherever appropriate, with a strong focus on creating reliable, well-connected systems and a consistent ‘single source of truth’ for data.
Reporting to the Director of IT, you will work with colleagues across academic and support areas including Finance, Estates, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Teaching and Learning, Admissions and Wellbeing. You will act as the bridge between users, technical teams and third-party suppliers, translating requirements into effective solutions and supporting colleagues through change.
As part of your key responsibilities, you will:
Gather, analyse and document business and systems requirements
Review processes and data flows to identify opportunities for improvement
Support the selection, implementation and integration of new systems
Lead workshops and engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
Support systems change, user acceptance testing, training and implementation
Improve process efficiency and reduce manual or fragmented workflows
Help strengthen data quality, reporting and insight
Ensure systems and processes meet safeguarding, data protection, security and regulatory requirements
Support continuous improvement and ensure systems remain aligned with the school’s needs
You will need strong business analysis and communication skills, with the confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders and turn complex requirements into clear, practical solutions.
