The Role As a Bank Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting students’ learning, wellbeing, and personal development. Your work will help create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where every pupil can thrive. This includes: Building warm, supportive and trusting relationships with pupils Encouraging independence, engagement and positive behaviour Assisting with high-quality, differentiated learning activities Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom duties Responding flexibly to the changing needs of the school Promoting pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional and physical development Working collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team Completing accurate records relating to behaviour, health or incidents Please note: duties may vary — flexibility is key to supporting the smooth running of the school. Skills and QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For Essential: GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/Level 2 or above) Understanding of safeguarding & child protection Experience or knowledge of supporting pupils with SEN A child-centred, positive and creative approach Desirable: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning Previous experience as a Level 2 (or equivalent) TA At least one year’s experience in
