About this role
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only + 2 INSET days
We are looking for a warm, organised and proactive Attendance Officer to join our pastoral team.
You will be at the heart of our daily attendance work: monitoring attendance and punctuality, making first-day absence calls, following up concerns, keeping accurate records and working with students, families and staff to improve attendance.
This is a busy, rewarding role where your communication skills, attention to detail and calm, professional approach will make a genuine difference. You will help spot patterns early, support safeguarding processes, and play an important part in ensuring every student can access their education.
You do not need to have worked in attendance before, although it would be a bonus. What matters most is that you are approachable, resilient, highly organised and committed to supporting young people and their families.
