About this role
The Morley Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational and committed colleague for the role of Attendance Officer. This is a key position within the Academy, playing a vital role in driving improvements in student attendance and punctuality. The successful candidate will work closely with the Attendance and Pastoral teams to monitor and analyse attendance data, identify concerns, and implement targeted interventions to support students and families. The role will also involve working in partnership with parents/carers and external agencies, promoting high expectations and ensuring the effective implementation of the Academy’s Attendance Strategy.
Potential applicants should have:
· 5 GCSEs grade C/4 and above including English and Mathematics.
· Knowledge and understanding of attendance processes and strategies to improve student attendance.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families and colleagues.
· Good organisational and ICT skills, including the ability to monitor and analyse data.
