Attendance Officer

Attendance Officer Required to start September 2026 Full Time, Permanent, Term Time plus INSET Days Grade 6 (SCP12 – SCP17) (£24,598 - £26,683 per annum) Birches Head Academy is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced support member of staff to the role of Attendance Officer. The successful candidate will work closely with children and families to reduce levels of absence and promote high levels of attendance and punctuality, enabling every child to reach their full potential. This post holder will be responsible for promoting a positive attitude from pupils and parents / carers, towards education and its importance in creating life chances and will ensure parents ensure parents / carers are fully aware of their statutory responsibilities regarding their child’s / children’s attendance at school and that the Academy complies with statutory requirements.
