Saigon Kids Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate, creative, and inspiring Atelierista (Art Teacher) to join our Reggio Emilia-inspired early childhood community.
At Saigon Kids, we believe children are capable, curious, and full of potential. We view art as one of the many languages through which children express their ideas, theories, emotions, and understanding of the world. We are looking for an Atelierista who shares this philosophy and is excited to collaborate with children and educators in creating meaningful learning experiences.
About the RoleAs our Atelierista, you will:
Design and facilitate engaging, open-ended art experiences for children aged 18 months to 6 years.
Create an inspiring atelier (art studio) that encourages exploration, creativity, and inquiry.
Support children in expressing their thinking through a variety of artistic languages and materials.
Work collaboratively with teachers to integrate artistic exploration into classroom projects and investigations.
Document children's learning through photographs, displays, and learning stories.
Encourage experimentation with a wide range of natural, recycled, and traditional art materials.
Help create beautiful learning environments that reflect children's ideas and creativity.
Participate in school events, exhibitions, and professional development.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:Has a genuine passion for working with young children.
Is creative, enthusiastic, and enjoys experimenting with different art mediums.
Understands, or is interested in learning about, the Reggio Emilia Approach.
Values children's ideas and respects them as capable learners.
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive teaching team.
Has strong communication and organisational skills.
Speaks English confidently (additional languages are an advantage).
QualificationsDegree or Diploma in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
Experience teaching art to young chi
