Associate Lecturer Science

Experience of working in a teaching and learning environment or working in the industry related to the subject area

Delivery of teaching, training or development

Confident in the use of technology in teaching (interactive whiteboards etc.)

Good presentation skills

Ability to teach at the appropriate level and relate theory to practice

Level 2 English and Maths Qualification or Equivalent

Degree level qualification appropriate to the discipline being taught or equivalent professional experience

Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards

Knowledge of the discipline being taught

Aware of appropriate resources/tools which can enhance teaching

Ability to work to deadlines

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to work creatively with young people and adults in a way that engages them in learning

Able to demonstrate good communication skills
