Do you have a background in fashion design, textiles, or the garment industry and a desire to inspire the next generation of creative talent?
Brighton MET College is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Associate Lecturer to join our Fashion and Textiles team on a bank basis, delivering Fashion and Textiles at Level 3 to a motivated cohort of students at the threshold of their creative careers.
You will play a key role in shaping a positive and ambitious studio culture - offering individual guidance, delivering formative and summative assessments, and contributing to the ongoing development of the curriculum. Your industry experience and professional networks will be invaluable in bringing real-world context into the classroom and creating meaningful opportunities for students.
In this role you will plan and deliver engaging, industry-informed teaching across core units including fashion design, ideas generation, garment construction, textiles techniques, and creative development.
