This key role focuses on driving achievement, overseeing intervention strategies, and developing pathways for students at Key Stage 3 & 4. Position: Associate Assistant Headteacher - Achievement, Intervention & Pathways Position Type: Associate Assistant Headteacher level Curriculum Focus: Key Stage 3 & 4 Role Overview: The successful candidate will lead initiatives to improve student outcomes through targeted interventions and personalised learning pathways. You will work closely with staff, students, and parents to ensure all learners achieve their full potential during this critical stage of their education. Skills and Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching at Key Stage 3 & 4 - Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment practices for Key Stage 3 & 4 - Demonstrable success in raising student achievement through effective intervention strategies - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, students, parents, and external partners - Ability to analyse data rigorously to inform decision-making and track progress - Leadership skills that inspire collaboration among teams focused on student support Values and Attitudes: - Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning excellence - Passionate about supporting diverse learners including those requiring additional intervention - A collaborative approach valuing teamwork across departments - Resilience combined with flexibility when managing challenges or change - Dedication to fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels valued - Integrity in professional conduct aligned with the
