The SEND team at Alcester Grammar School is led by our Associate Assistant Principal SENDCo and supported by an experienced Learning Support Coordinator and dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants. We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Assistant SENDCo to play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential within our inclusive and high-performing school community. A significant aspect of the role involves leading The Bridge – our dedicated supervised provision for students with SEND. Working closely with students, parents, staff and external agencies, you will help coordinate and implement effective support strategies, monitor student progress and contribute to the ongoing development of SEND provision across the school. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the SENDCo to ensure that students receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
