We are seeking an ambitious, values‑driven Assistant Principal – Inclusion to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in ensuring that every pupil feels safe, supported, and able to thrive.
This is a key strategic leadership post with responsibility for SEND, inclusion, wellbeing, safeguarding and pupil premium, and for removing barriers to learning for our most vulnerable pupils. The successful candidate will be a visible, credible leader who combines strong systems thinking with warmth, high expectations, and an unwavering commitment to equity.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead whole‑school strategy for inclusion, SEND and wellbeing, ensuring high‑quality systems, consistent practice and impactful interventions
Provide strategic leadership to improve outcomes for pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils, and other vulnerable groups
Analyse and use inclusion, attendance, behaviour and achievement data to identify priorities and drive improvement
Work closely with the SENDCo, safeguarding leads, pastoral teams and external agencies to ensure pupils are safe and well supported
Act as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the day‑to‑day leadership and culture of the school
Lead and develop pastoral and inclusion teams, ensuring strong performance management and professional development
