As the school continues to grow and develop, we are looking to appoint an ambitious and highly experienced Assistant Headteacher: Head of Arabic and Islamic to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a key leadership position within the school and provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to play a significant role in shaping the quality, provision and future development of Arabic and Islamic Education at Smart Vision School. With the school currently open to Year 9 and expanding year-on-year, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape provision from the early years through to GCSE and beyond, ensuring that Arabic and Islamic Education are delivered to the highest possible standards and meet both UAE requirements and the wider vision of the school. The RoleThe successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Principal and wider leadership team to support the strategic development and day-to-day leadership of the school. As Head of Arabic and Islamic, they will have overall responsibility for the quality of teaching, learning, curriculum development, assessment and outcomes within Arabic and Islamic Education. The role will require an individual who combines strong leadership skills with excellent classroom practice and who understands the importance of Arabic and Islamic Education within the context of a UAE school. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute beyond their own areas of responsibility and play an active role in the wider strategic development of Smart Vision School.
