Position: Assistant Head of Teaching and Learning Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Curriculum: United Kingdom (British Curriculum) Education Stage: High/Secondary School Minimum Experience: 5 years Key Responsibilities: - Support the Head of Department in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies across all subjects. - Lead initiatives that promote high-quality learning experiences for students. - Monitor and evaluate teaching standards, providing constructive feedback to staff. - Facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery. - Assist in data analysis related to student performance and use findings to inform practice improvements. Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a secondary school setting within a UK curriculum environment. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing or assisting educational teams. - Strong understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches and assessment methods. - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze data effectively for improving teaching practices. - Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) along with any additional leadership training or certifications.
