The finance team are very much integrated into the heart of the school and is well regarded. Being part of the wider business team, this role has significant potential to grow in both breadth and depth. The successful candidate will take primary responsibility for the financial administration of school trips and activities, ensuring costings are accurate and effectively managed. The role also includes supporting wider finance tasks, including income processing and reconciliation.
All areas of the work will require you to be organised, approachable and proactive, balancing the ability to prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met whilst being flexible and prepared to adapt to the needs of a busy school environment. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to work productively with colleagues, students, and suppliers, in a friendly and approachable manner, illustrating a willingness and enthusiasm to contribute to the overall success of the school.
Job PurposeAdminister the financial aspects of educational trips, visits and activities across the school, working closely with the Business Support Officer
Be responsible for the Ashcombe sales ledger, raising invoices to our external hirers.

SalarySESSET 6 £31,102 – £33,952 p.a. FTE
Actual pro-rata £23,227 - £25,355 p.a. depending on hours and experience
ContractWorking 30 hours per week, 41 weeks (term time + 2 weeks at the end of the summer holidays). Option to work from home one day per week after probation.
