Position: Assistant Attendance Officer Position Type: Other Office and Administrative Positions Location: Dagenham Park CofE School, United Kingdom Role Overview: The Assistant Attendance Officer will support the Attendance Team by monitoring student attendance records, liaising with parents and staff, and helping to implement strategies that improve overall attendance rates. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative or attendance-related role within an educational setting or similar environment. - Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and familiarity with school management information systems (SIMS or equivalent). - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for engaging with students, parents/carers, staff members, and external agencies. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
