About this role
Term time 40 weeks per year, 39 weeks plus 5 days in August school holidays
35 hours per week, 8:30 am to 16.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
We are seeking a proactive, organised and meticulous administrator to work alongside our Annual Review Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of the EHCP annual review process. In addition, the successful candidate will manage a number of key daily tasks relating to student attendance.

Positive and engaging attitude.
A knowledge of school and SEND terminology would be advantageous, as well as an understanding of autism, although not essential as training will be provided.
This role involves:
Preparing and distributing accurate EHCP annual review documents within legal deadlines in line with the annual review schedule.
Attending EHCP annual reviews and completing high quality meeting minutes within required timeframes.
Accurately maintaining and updating the annual review schedule.
Liaising with parents, Local Authority representatives and school staff.
Sharing EHCP and annual review information with relevant school staff.
Accurately completing the school’s registers and following up with parents when students are absent
Managing student planned absences
Filing and archiving
Organising the attendance awards and termly attendance certificates
General administrative tasks when required
Heathermount School is a day school providing an all-round education to meet the needs of students from the ages of 5-18 who have SEND with a primary diagnosis of Autism. We are well resourced and have excellent facilities set in 14 acres of land. Classes are small, and staff training is comprehensive.
